The Siggi Arm Chair is a continuation of chairs made by my grandfather, artist Homer “Siggi” Pfeiffer. The chairs are handmade in my Brooklyn studio. Forged metal elements are paired with carved wood seats. The design is elegant and materially honest. All metal is patinated by hand. Moments of decoration occur at points of functional connection. The chair is a delight to view and a pleasure to sit in.
