The Siggi Dining Chair, affectionately known as the Siggi Seat, is a continuation of chairs made by my grandfather, artist Homer “Siggi” Pfeiffer. The chairs are handmade in my Brooklyn studio. Forged metal elements are paired with carved wood seats, creating a design that is elegant and materially honesty. The chair features hand-applied patinas and moments of decoration at points of functional connection. The chair is a delight to view and a pleasure to sit in.
